What to Expect
Six days of learning with Sasha - developing confidence from the ground to the horse.
Whether you have never shot before, or you are an advanced archer, this intimate group format focuses on the structure, technique and mindset of horseback archery based on the philosophy and principals of Kassai Lajos and the WFEA system.
In the six days Sasha will guide you on technique, posture, and visualisation on the ground to the horse - using rhythm and beat to find your flow for horse archery. Ground archery is a vital element to finding a symbiotic flow between the archer, the horse and the bow.
During the six days you will:
- Get to know the equipement
- Learn how to shoot for horsearchery
- Shoot in all three directions - front, side and back
- Fast nocking and speed shooting
- How to hold multiple arrows
- Drum drills
- Riding positions for horse archery
- Bareback balancing
By the end of the six days you will be able to shoot arrows from a horse in canter on our WFEA track.
